I will never vote for John McCain...
Not because he's a republican, Ron Paul is a republican and i voted for him in the primary, heck if it was Paul vs Hillary I'd take Ron any day.
The reason i will not vote for John McCain... He served in the Military.. for over 20 years.
I believe the psychological training received while a person is in the military disqualifies them from holding major public office.
What they do when you join the armed forces, before any other training, they get you ready to kill people.
I believe that no human that is psychologically prepared to kill is elligeable for public office.
So, if i was in the house or senate i would propose a bill the makes it impossible for people who have served for 7 years to hold major public office.
Now don't get me wrong, we need soldiers, and i think we should give retired soldiers all kinds of benefits. We should give them free college, unwavering health care, and even social workers to help rehabilitate them into normal society. We should respect and honer them for risking there lives to protect our country.
But the fact remains, they are trained to kill.

Anyways, Ron Paul was a member of the Armed Forces, like myself.

Yea you're right, with the pro-war mentality, there's no telling how many wars he will want waged, and that's a damn good reason not to elect him. But combined with Palin's radical ideas, this couple scares me more than Bush and Cheney ever did.
